First Transnational Learning, Teaching and Training Activity in France

The first face-to-face Learning, Teaching and Training Activity (LTTA) of our Erasmus+ project was successfully hosted by Lycée des Coteaux in Cannes, France, from 8 to 14 March 2026.

The meeting brought together students and teachers from France, Spain, and Türkiye to strengthen international cooperation and develop essential media literacy skills. A total of 12 students (aged 15–17) and 6 teachers participated in the mobility, representing Lycée des Coteaux (France), Colegio Malvar (Spain), and İdeaX Education and Culture Association together with Kemalpaşa Ferzent Bulum Anatolian High School (Türkiye).

The week's activities focused on introducing the fundamentals of media literacy and helping participants identify disinformation and fake news. Through interactive workshops, students explored fact-checking techniques, analysed online content from different media sources, and discussed how misinformation spreads across digital platforms. Working in mixed international teams, they developed practical resources such as Fact-Checker Guides, while improving their critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.

In addition to the educational programme, participants had the opportunity to experience French culture, strengthen intercultural friendships, and exchange ideas about responsible digital citizenship. The meeting also promoted environmentally responsible practices, including digital documentation, sustainable mobility, and outdoor environmental activities.

Throughout the week, participants visited several educational, cultural, and local institutions in and around Cannes, allowing them to gain a deeper understanding of the region's cultural heritage and educational environment. These visits further enriched the learning experience by connecting the project's themes with real-life contexts.

The first transnational meeting laid a strong foundation for the project by fostering collaboration, intercultural dialogue, and digital responsibility, while preparing participants for the upcoming international activities and the joint development of the project's educational resources.
